Finished Project

February 28, 2009

I finally finished my painting that I have been putting off for months.  I bought this great big canvas and couldn’t wait to paint it, but when faced with it, it was a little overwhelming.  Last week, though, I had time and finally decided to get it finished.  I think it’s pretty good for my first time.

I Think I’m In Love

February 21, 2009

tucker70swebimg_14191This 70′s action has become my new favorite.  It doesn’t work for every picture, but man when it does, it’s amazing!!

This little guy turned six months on Valentines day and I got to take his pics today.  He is such a cutie, not so little, though.  Why is it that the boys get all the hair, my daughter didn’t have this much hair at one year.:)tuckerwebimg_1419tuckerbwwebimg_1510

Brand New Blog!!!

February 16, 2009

maddietextureimg_12991So I have been working for the last couple days on this new blog design and I think I finally have it finished.  This should make sneak peeks much more fun as the pictures are going to be bigger.  This is just my first test post with the new digs, come back later this evening and I should have some cute pics of my nephew that I’m taking pictures of later today.  For this post, though, I just put a pic of Maddison that I did, playing around with texture.

*New* Referral Program

February 14, 2009

I am excited to start offering a new Referral program.  Word-of-mouth is my best source of advertising! For every person that you refer to me and upon completion of their session, I will mail you a $25 gift certificate to use towards your next session which can be applied to your session fee, prints or products.  I’m also excited to be offering packages, so head on over to my website to see the new additions.

So I got my bamboo floor today, it is so much easier than the other hardwood fake floor set up I have.  This thing is going to be able to go everywhere with me, so if a clients wants a hard wood floor look, we can just set it up with any of my backdrops and wala, you have potterybarn looking houses in your pictures.  I also bounced the flash off the window behind me in this pic, don’t know why I never thought of that before, it worked fabulously.  Now I will have much better lighting when I go into those houses that just don’t have quite enough light.  jackbwwebimg_1342jackwebimg_1337

My husband surprised me with roses this morning when I got out of the shower.  12 Beautiful yellow roses, it was such a nice way to start the day.  Also, here’s a shot of Maddison in her new braces.  Things went well, she said they didn’t hurt as bad as she thought they would.  I was fascinated watching them put them on, but very thankful I never had to wear them.  Ouch.yellowroseimg_1321maddiewebimg_1325
