August 30, 2008A couple from yesterday’s newborn session
August 29, 2008

I am on a newborn role, I had one yesterday, and one today, then I get to take my little great-nephew’s next week. Yes you read right, I am a great aunt, doesn’t that make me sound old? These were great fun to do, I love little baby pics and mom was worried we wouldn’t get any of the two together, but I think they turned out great.
This Looks Amazing…A Must See!
August 26, 2008I found this link on a blog I frequent I would love to see it. Who Does She Think She Is? I’m sure in the small part of the world where I live, I will have to wait for dvd, but it will be worth it. It spoke to me, as I’m sure it will many women, especially mothers.
A fun little time waster…..
August 22, 2008I found this on a blog that I frequent, and who would of thought you could turn words into art?? I love it, I took one of my poems and it created this little word cloud, they call it wordle.
…I would have killed to have something like this in high school or college for my English classes.
And Then There Was One…..
August 20, 2008Playing In Colorado!!!
August 15, 2008

I am enjoying the cool weather in Colorado this week, taking my niece’s Senior pictures and hanging out with her family. It has been a wonderful week away from my family and all the unpacking and painting and other stuff that goes with new house ownership. The timing of my trip could have been better, but I didn’t expect to sell our house the week before I left. The weather could be better, it has been raining all day, and very cold, I actually had to go buy an outfit because it is so cold here. While I am enjoying the time away, I am looking forward to getting back home to my fam, and the new house stuff. I thankfully got one day of picture taking in before the rain started, so here’s a little peek at my first senior session.
Frogs and Toads
August 11, 2008
Did I mention we live on some sort of frog/toad breeding ground. I mean seriously when you step outside at night you actually risk stepping on them. They are cute and tiny and a varied species, sometimes reddish orange, sometimes gray like this little tree frog that made it inside the trampoline this morning.
Before and After
August 11, 2008Outside Fun!!!
August 11, 2008

We got a trampoline yesterday, they are so much fun! I’m not sure who had more fun, the kids or Andrew and I. Not fun to put together, though. Thankfully we have nice neighbors, cause I don’t think I would have been much help by myself. The kids had a blast, though, and of course we turned on the sprinkler, as well and that makes it even more fun. You’ll have to excuse the blur, I haven’t quite gotten the timing right on taking pics of kids jumping. And just so you know that is not a cowboy hat on my son, it’s “Indiana Jones” hat.
