We had to do a re-shoot after we got rained out last Tuesday. In the mean time, little miss L thought it’d be great to go ahead and break her arm:) Kids, what are you gonna do, anyway we decided to go ahead and do the shoot so we could get them in the wildflowers, man am I glad we did. I got some gorgeous ones of these girls, cast and all.;)

This little cutie, I could take pics of all day long. Her eyes are just unbelievable, Dad’s gonna have some trouble with the boys I have a feeling.

Why I Love My Job….

June 28, 2008

This my friends is why I love my job. Have you ever seen a cuter baby? She was so perfect, all smiles and just walking enough to get standing and sitting shots. She was absolutely adorable and knew the words to songs that mom was singing, it was just an absolute blast taking little Miss F’s pictures. I have tons of good ones, but I must go to sleep, so maybe there will be more tomorrow.

Friendly visitor…

June 27, 2008

We had a friendly little turtle make a pit stop on our patio tonight. Clearly he was famished from his long journey through the yard so he stopped by for a leaf. The kids thought he was super cool and of course wanted to keep him, but I thought maybe Libby would think otherwise.

Summer Camp!!

June 27, 2008

Maddison spent a week at Kanakuk, a Christian Sports camp, last week. She had an awesome time and learned a ton. It was an amazing experience for her, she won some awards, made a ton of new friends and most importantly, made a commitment to follow Christ. She has come home a changed person, and it has been amazing to watch, even the boys have noticed a difference. Here are some pictures from the closing ceremonies, where she got the “heart” award, which was pretty cool, because it was camp wide, not just in her tee pee. The counselors at this place are amazing, I’m not sure I had the energy they have to have even as a college student, it’s crazy.

Sneak Peek ………..

June 24, 2008

So I had a photo shoot with two gorgeous girls this morning, but it started raining on my drive to their house. We went ahead and took some indoor shots, but then it really started coming down and got super cloudy so we rescheduled for another day. We did get to take a couple of snaps in the rain, though. I did get some pretty good shots indoors, and I can’t wait to get them in the field of wildflowers.

The Amazing Flying Dog!!

June 24, 2008

So I was bored today, waiting for Andrew to wake up and Libby was entertaining herself with her toy, so I took some snaps. I love the way her ear’s flapped up in the “flying pic”.

Blueberry Picking…

June 22, 2008

We took the boys blueberry picking today, it was tons of fun and they were much cheaper than buying them in the store. I love it, we have enough blueberries to make pancakes, muffins, sauce, and I even froze some so we will have fresh blueberries picked and frozen by moi. The boys had a great time, and of course we had to sample a couple, to make sure they were good, of course.

I had a photo session last night, and we went to my in-laws wildflower field. Holy Cow!! I am definitely going to try and do more shoots out there before the flowers die out, it is amazing. I am also going to try and get some of my kids out there and do some of the creative back lit shots that I am too frazzled to remember everything during a client shoot. I got a pretty good one last night, but I know I can do better. Thanks to the N family, though, cause I got some pretty gorgeous shots and really how could I not, these people are so beautiful.

Cool Dude!!

June 18, 2008

This little dude is having surgery tomorrow, nothing major, just getting tubes in his ears. It’s still very unnerving to me, knowing that I have to let him go in alone and can’t sit and hold his hand. I’m certain the doctor is more than capable, but it’s just a little scary handing over your baby to someone who until last, week was a complete stranger. So if you have a moment in the morning you might say a prayer for him and maybe one for me as well so I don’t lose my mind while waiting.
